Black Sesame Balls


2 cups roasted black sesame seeds

1 tablespoon black sesame paste/spread ( black sesame tahini)

3 tablespoons pure maple syrup.

Roast the sesame seeds until they start to splatter. Let it cool.

Using a food processor, process all the ingredients until they clump together. If required, add a little more maple syrup to help bring the mixture together.

The final texture depends on personal preference. You can process it until it becomes quite smooth or as I prefer it, a little coarse.

Remove and shape them into balls and enjoy. Store them in the refrigerater.

To make the white sesame balls, follow the same recipe except use white sesame tahini.
