*1 cup dry roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios etc)
1 cup dried fruits chopped ( cranberries, raisins, apricots etc)
1 cup pitted dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*Roasting the nuts is optional. Although it adds to the flavour!
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process continuously for about 30 secs until mixture has a crumbly texture. Continue to process until the mixture clumps together. If dry add 1 tablespoon maple syrup.
Press mixture into a square baking pan and refrigerate for at least 3 hours and then slice them into desired shape.
